Being part of the Marketing team, you will be responsible for defining the strategy of the Media affairs plan, under the Public Affairs & Communication strategy of the company, and lead its implementation.  

You will:

  • Assisting our CMO & our Content Manager in the design and execution of communication campaigns, the organization of events;

  • development of our brand image in Spain (Madrid & Barcelona) through our media (social networks, site, newsletter);

  • Developing partnerships with influencers;

  • Setting up partnerships and special events with brands and places in Madrid/Barcelona to grow the number of customers (special focus in University and student residences);

  • Coordination and management of the PR Agency;

  • Media Relationships: assist in media relations for general day-to-day activities (press releases, press conferences, interviews, interaction with journalists, attend media queries, etc) and special events (press trips, uni events, fairs,..);

  • Build relationships with relevant media, analysts and event managers;

  • Write and edit statements, press releases, contributed stories, presentations, and other PR & Communications’ materials;

  • Build an annual PR plan per brand with clear KPIs, working within budget and timelines and tracking results;

  • Identify communities locally where the brands can establish relationship.


You have:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role;

  • Ability to work independently ensuring that regular updates are provided to key stakeholders;

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, organizational, attention to detail and follow-up skills a must;

  • Excellent project management skills and proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills and contacts across all verticals.

Is a plus if you have:

  • Existing relationships with ES-based business, universities and/or marketing journalists;
  • Copywriting qualification or equivalent;
  • Social media experience;
  • Content management experience (website/intranet);
  • Experience of working within an international team.
